American Muscle Car

340 running again

My 67 Dart Gt Convertible has a 1971 Dodge Demon 340 in it and it must be the reason it has been out of the car and built for the 3rd time in 3,000 miles

This past Saturday we took it to Pro Max to run it on their Dyno to break the cam in and tune before installing it.

I'm glad I spent the money to do this. We found the secondaries not opening and at 4,800 rpm it developed an oil leak at the filter adapter.

The dist. is being recurved Tuesday then rejetting the carb and running on the dyno again to make sure it is in proper tune

I'm looking forward to getting the Dart running again

on the dyno at Pro Max

back in again!
