What's your favorite muscle car (year/make/model)?
1970 Plymouth Cuda
Any cool story related to your favorite muscle car?
In high school (1970) my mom's car was a Red Plymouth Cuda, 383, automatic, black bucket seats, ralleye dash, ralleye wheels, lettered tires, black vinyl roof, hood scoops, and a hockey 383 stripe down each rear quarter panel. My mom was pretty cool. On month, I ran up a $180 gasoline bill by myself. Ouch! With the price of gas around $.30+/gallon, that's a lot of going nowhere fast. The Cuda wasn't to bad for taking dates around either.

Cool name for your Mustang. What is the origin for you? My grandfather carried fuel oil for the Mobil Oil Company. That's where I first heard of Pegasus (The Flying Horse). Read More »

NBA Playoffs! Give us your breakdown on the games. Who will win the different series in progress?

1). ORLANDO is a good team but has very little experience. They will be toast. DETROIT will win this series.

2). CLEVELAND is all over the place. BOSTON is very erratic. CLEVELAND will upset BOSTON.

3). NEW ORLEANS is a breath of fresh air. SAN ANTONIO is old news plus they hired Kelvin Sampson who is the former IU Coach that committed all sorts of NCAA violations. To me that shows their value right there. NEW ORLEANS will win and get rid of the oldtimers.

4). UTAH is int…

THE INDIANAPOLIS 500: Tell us what you think! Stories you have experienced.

I have been going to the Indianapolis 500 since 1963. This will be my 45th year in a row! I have been to all of the NASCAR (Brickyard 400's) and all of the F-1 races.

No race is quite like the 500, especially the sound of the 33 cars entering the 1st turn @ 225+ mph. Cold chills... It is real pleasure to take someone new to the 500 for the first time. They never stop talking about the experience in a positive light.

The product that Tony George has put together, since taking ove…

NASCAR Teams that cheat and are still awarded the victory and the money.

Give us your opinion of the way NASCAR handles cheaters, victories, and money. Let's get it all on the table. (eg: Carl Edwards @ Las Vegas)

Indiana University Hoosiers Basketball Program. Perhaps 5 MAJOR NCAA violations. Lets hear ya!

Well, I hate to say I told you so!!!!!! The athletic director, Greenspan, should be a major point of focus for hiring Sampson. Sampson's record at Oklahoma was pathetic. People don't change. He should have never been hired at any university. 14 pages of paperwork from the NCAA.

Now, IU is up against 5 MAJOR infractions. Truly sad but you did it to yourself.

I have not watched or supported IU since they hired Sampson. All the kids get hurt in these type of situations. Build a new…

Colts: Latest Debacle! What happened & where do we go from here?

Don't get wrong, I love the Colts. Now that the Colts have fumbled again in the Playoffs (this time as defending Super Bowl Champs), what can we do to stop these shocking failures of not advancing past the 1st round when favored to win?

Indianapolis is the only team, in the history of the NFL, to ever have 12+ wins in 5 straight seasons. That is a tremendous success. The Colts have 1 Super Bowl Championship. Indianapolis is a first class organization and we owe Jim Irsay a huge thank…

Steve - I'm on the square in Noblesville with the law firm of Church,Church,Hittle&Antrim. I have a '70 Buick GS Stage I and a 2002 Camaro SS ragtop. I do some of the CIVV and American Legion car shows. I'd like to see your assembly of cars. Your demeanor and temperment are unlike any museum curator ever encountered. I look forward to a subsidized lunch.

Thanks steve. I just recently found out about the museum. From the photos it looks fantastic. You have some beautiful cars, I would like to stay some of my favorites but in reality, they are all my favorite. would enjoy taking a look at them some time. I will take some new photos of the camaro and add them to the site.

Steve,
Thanks for the invitation. Will have to clear it with the boss. G and Briggs always welcome (as long as they pay their way). No free rides on "G-Air"
How bout them Hoosiers!!

Steve,
Sure no problem. If you have the cars list in a word doc or something I can use as an attachment that would work fine.

Also, I seem to recall you had just lost your assistant, went to Detroit I think? Are you looking for a replacement? I have a resume from a lady in our club (lives in the area) that you might want to give a look to if the position is still open.

Send the car documert to my insight account if that's OK
