What's your favorite muscle car (year/make/model)?
1971 Cuda Convertible
Any cool story related to your favorite muscle car?
Bought my 71 Curious Yellow `Cuda Convertible for $850 in 1979 after it was turned back in to the finance company due to a divorce. It was sitting behind the service bays at Northside Chrysler and was told the fuel pump was out. I checked it out, shot some starting fluid in it andf it started and checked the gas gauge which was on empty. After paying the finance company, I poured 5 gallons of gas in it and drove it home. Come to find out after new fuel pumps the power valve was bad in the carb.

One of my Favorite cars from my early days was my brothers 69 383 GTS Dodge Dart. I was 14 when he got it and he said when I got my license he would sell it to me. Was I ever excited, then dad said, "You'll get killed in that thing you cannot have it". Once I got my license Tony let me drive it alot and I never did any damage to me, but had to fix a few broken parts on it from time to time.............LOL

Guess if I wanted a 6 pak I would buy the new setup that is available. The original stuff is expensive and the carbs probably not as good as new ones. And if you are getting them for a 74 cuda bein... Read More »

340 running again

My 67 Dart Gt Convertible has a 1971 Dodge Demon 340 in it and it must be the reason it has been out of the car and built for the 3rd time in 3,000 miles

This past Saturday we took it to Pro Max to run it on their Dyno to break the cam in and tune before installing it.

I'm glad I spent the money to do this. We found the secondaries not opening and at 4,800 rpm it developed an oil leak at the filter adapter.

The dist. is being recurved Tuesday then…

Larry,

Your crusing looks fun. Woodward in Detroit is supposed to be fabulous.

Please write a description of the Woodward experience in a Forum. Go to the main page and move all the way down the page to Forum. Then, start a discussion. This would be very cool for the Members. Please post more pixs of the event if you have more. Thanks.
